PowderHandling - Sydney Seminar

Sydney Seminar 28th February 2007:

The seminar held in Sydney on the 28th February was a one day seminar and featured four very interesting and informative presentations by experts in their individual fields.

1/- Pneumatic Conveying – Principals, Techniques and the Importance of Correct Design

Presenter: Mike Anderson, Managing Director – Nu-Con Australia Pty Ltd

2/- Basic Concepts for Mixing and Batching Plants

Presenter: Roger Baxter, Consultant

3/- Bulk Solids Testing, Silo & Hopper Design, Discharging Difficult to Manage Products

Presenter: Jacob Katinic, Director – Bulk Handling Global Pty Ltd

4/- Sampling Equipment for Powders, Granules and Liquids

Presenter: Ron Purvis, Director - Hisen Equipment Pty Ltd

This seminar proved to be very popular and we had more than 60 registered delegates. In fact, we had to close registrations several weeks prior to the event.

Overall, the feedback we received was very positive and despite a few hiccups with the audio system and a few parking issues, the day went off without a hitch. Some of the comments we received on the feedback forms included:-
